{"id":36240,"date":"2023-06-16T09:43:24","date_gmt":"2023-06-16T09:43:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/?p=36240"},"modified":"2025-06-18T19:20:04","modified_gmt":"2025-06-18T19:20:04","slug":"happyfox-spf-and-dkim-configuration-step-by-step","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/happyfox-spf-and-dkim-configuration-step-by-step\/","title":{"rendered":"HappyFox SPF and DKIM Configuration: Step by Step"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This instructional article will demonstrate the HappyFox configuration process of Sender Policy Framework (SPF), DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) Signatures to ensure HappyFox passes the DMARC alignment check and eliminate spam from your domain and increase security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SPF record identifies the mail servers and domains that are allowed to send emails on behalf of your domain. The DKIM record, on the other hand, is a specially formatted DNS TXT record that stores the public key the receiving mail server will use to verify a message&#8217;s signature. These email authentication methods will be used to prove to ISPs and mail services that senders are truly authorized to send email from a particular domain and, are a way of verifying your email-sending server is sending emails through your domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" id=\"spf-yes\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-process-of-setting-up-spf\"><strong>The process of setting up SPF<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure the emails from HappyFox are sent on behalf of your domain, we need to create or update your existing SPF record by including the following mechanism: <em>include:spf.happyfox.com<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can easily do this easily by using our <a href=\"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/tools\/spf-record-generator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SPF Generator Tool<\/a> and following the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Navigate to <a href=\"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/tools\/spf-record-generator\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SPF Record Generator<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add include:<em>spf.happyfox.com<\/em> in the include:__ section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose the Policy (The options are: Fail (Not Compliant will be rejected), SoftFail (Not Compliant will be accepted but marked) and Neutral (Mails will be probably accepted)).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When you have made followed the steps, click on the \u201cGenerate\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Copy the provided HappyFox SPF record and navigate to your DNS provider (CloudFlare, Godaddy, etc.) and create a TXT Record. <strong>We\u2019ll be using CloudFlare for this example.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image alignfull size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"911\" height=\"460\" src=\"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Copy-of-sc1-1-1.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-36241\" srcset=\"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Copy-of-sc1-1-1.png 911w, https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Copy-of-sc1-1-1-300x151.png 300w, https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/06\/Copy-of-sc1-1-1-768x388.png 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 911px) 100vw, 911px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>6\u2024Click on \u201cSave\u201d         <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>7\u2024Wait up to 72 hours to allow your DNS to process the changes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important Note: Each domain must have only one SPF TXT Record.
