The DKIM record, on the other hand, is a specially formatted DNS TXT record that stores the public key the receiving mail server will use to verify a message&#8217;s signature. These email authentication methods will be used to prove to ISPs and mail services that senders are truly authorized to send email from a particular domain and are a way of verifying your email sending server is sending emails through your domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" id=\"spf-yes\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-process-of-configuring-spf\"><strong>The process of configuring SPF<\/strong><\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to authenticate SMTP.com on SPF, please follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Login and head to your DNS Zone provider<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Create a new TXT record<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Input the DNS name as @ or your domain name<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Input the DNS value as v=spf1 include:_spf.smtp.com ~all<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Save the record<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Wait up to 72 hours to allow your DNS to process the changes<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Screenshot below will show you an example of the SPF record. <strong>We\u2019ll be using CloudFlare for this example.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-us.googleusercontent.com\/WOpXtoWugApVuuYlGg8ygziS5tVJ9Jo0kPzdMyvCPi1VyOrrLRVhVUPHdfhR7K_eNXG_E5AoFxk0z6Eex7uRfd7cyBgeyO84hlx_ZBbiUi3exQqRZwn4rKWwcB3unerUSKIrCoesdycOmNBhfzivEt0\" width=\"624\" height=\"109\"\/><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Important Note:<\/strong> Each domain must have only one SPF TXT Record. If you have multiple SPF Records<strong>, <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/spf-too-many-dns-lookups-error\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>SPF will return a PermError<\/strong><\/a><strong>.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you are using multiple IPs, ESPs, Third-Party services for your various email strategies, you should include them in a single SPF Record.<br \/><\/strong><em>E.g v=spf1 ip4:18.57.156.221 include:_spf.smtp.com include:thirdpartyservice.com ~all<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-9d6595d7 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" id=\"dkim-yes\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-process-of-configuring-dkim\">The process of configuring DKIM<\/h3>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to authenticate SMTP.com on DKIM, you need to add a custom DKIM key on your domain.
