{"id":40257,"date":"2024-03-26T09:50:59","date_gmt":"2024-03-26T09:50:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/?p=40257"},"modified":"2025-05-30T10:59:52","modified_gmt":"2025-05-30T10:59:52","slug":"taguchi-spf-and-dkim-configuration","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/taguchi-spf-and-dkim-configuration\/","title":{"rendered":"Taguchi SPF and DKIM configuration: Step By Step Guideline"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>This instructional article will demonstrate the Taguchi configuration process of Sender Policy Framework (SPF), DomainKeys Identified Mail (DKIM) Signatures to ensure Taguchi passes the DMARC alignment check and eliminate spam from your domain and increase security.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The SPF record identifies the mail servers and domains that are allowed to send email on behalf of your domain. The DKIM record, on the other hand, is a specially formatted DNS TXT record that stores the public key the receiving mail server will use to verify a message&#8217;s signature. These email authentication methods will be used to prove to ISPs and mail services that senders are truly authorized to send email from a particular domain and are a way of verifying your email sending server is sending emails through your domain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Taguchi is using a subdomain to send emails, which means the Return-Path domain will be associated with your subdomain (for example, test.example.com). Ensure that you configure it on your subdomain for proper functionality, as instructed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-the-process-of-configuration\"><strong>The process of configuration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>In order to authenticate Taguchi on your domain, you need to create TXT and CNAME records. Please follow these steps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Login to your Taguchi account<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Navigate to Settings &gt; Domain to configure MTA&#8217;s in the &#8216;Sending Domains&#8217; section<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"405\" src=\"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/unnamed-3-1024x405.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-45417\" srcset=\"https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/unnamed-3-1024x405.png 1024w, https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/unnamed-3-300x119.png 300w, https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/unnamed-3-768x304.png 768w, https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/unnamed-3-1536x608.png 1536w, https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/unnamed-3-1200x475.png 1200w, https:\/\/easydmarc.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/unnamed-3.png 1600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click Add Sending Domain and input the From domain<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Add the return-path subdomain component.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>For example if the From domain is sending-test.taguchimail.com.au, entering bounce into the &#8216;return-path&#8217; field will make the return-path address become bounce.sending-test.taguchimail.com.au.
