Improvements to our ConnectWise Integration

In June this year, we launched our integration with ConnectWise, enabling ConnectWise MSPs to easily manage their customers and DMARC data directly from the ConnectWise platform. It also provided centralized billing for the EasyDMARC product from the ConnectWise ecosystem. 

After taking feedback from our MSPs, we’re happy to share that we’ve subsequently made some changes that will improve your experience when setting up and managing the ConnectWise PSA integration. Here’s more about the enhancements we’ve made.

  1. Redesigned Page for Alerting/Ticketing Mapping

We’ve simplified the alert selection and mapping process so it’s easier and faster to choose which alerts you want to map with your Ticketing Service Board in ConnectWise.

2. Option to Define Custom Product Invoice Description

To make mapped customer invoicing more customized, we’ve added a Product Invoice Description field so you can add more details on line items. You can also choose whether you want to include domain names. Previously, there was only the option of using a domain name for invoice lines.   

    3. No-Charge Billing Option

    Previously, you could choose from two billing options for your customers: 

      • Billable – domains are added to the invoice with a corresponding price
      • Not Billable – domains are reported as additions, but when the invoice is created, they are not included.

      Now there is a third option, No-charge, which adds the domains to your customer’s invoice but shows at a cost price of $0 or €0. This makes it easy for you to track the cost of the EasyDMARC product in ConnectWise, even if you don’t directly charge your customers for DMARC solutions.  

      4. Additional Filtering Options for Customer Mapping

      We know that MSPs can have hundreds of companies added in ConnectWise, and you need to be able to sort through them quickly. To make customer mapping easier, we’ve added two more filters – Status (Active, Suspended, etc.) and Type (Customer, Distributor, Partner, etc.).
