We are looking for a passionate and results-oriented Team Lead for the Sales Development Representative (SDR) team, based remotely, to join our team and be responsible for overseeing and developing our Sales Development Representatives.
There are main objectives for this role:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Sales Development Representatives
- Drive lead generation and optimize the sales pipeline to support company growth
- Coach and mentor SDRs to meet and exceed targets
- Continuously improve processes to enhance team efficiency and performance
- Ensure smooth lead handover between SDRs, Account Executives and MSP team
- Bring the whole SDR department to a higher level
Job Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of SDRs remotely to achieve and exceed lead generation targets. Provide coaching, training, and support to help them grow professionally.
- Next to managing your own team, there will be other SDR teams as well. The goal is to also support them to find new ways of doing the job and pushing all SDR teams to a higher level.
- Work closely with the Marketing team to align on campaigns and ensure proper lead qualification, and with the Sales team to ensure smooth transitions of leads to Account Executives and/or MSP Acquisition Managers.
- Track and analyze key performance metrics (KPIs) for the SDR team, identifying areas for improvement. Ensure each SDR is meeting daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Continuously evaluate and improve the SDR workflow, stay up-to-date with industry best practices to maximize team effectiveness
- Provide regular reports on team performance and campaign effectiveness to the Sales Director. Suggest data-driven strategies for improving lead conversion rates
- Participate in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new SDRs, ensuring they are set up for success from day one
Required Qualifications
- Experienced in leading SDR teams that are focussed on outbound activities.
- Proven experience as a Sales Development Representative with at least 3 years in an SDR leadership role
- Experience using sales productivity tools: Hubspot, Sales Automation tools, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Navigator etc., along with rolling out new sales efficiency tools
- Experience in building outbound best practices
- Experience in building and managing a team that works remotely
- Strong understanding of the sales process, lead generation, and sales funnels
- Knowledge of the B2B SaaS market including some tech background
- Eager and curious to learn about new technologies
- Ability to motivate and inspire a team in a high-paced, results-driven environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent listening skills
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and exceptional problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in verbal and written English
